Schutte is a Cape Town based illustrator and designer. He is the creative director and only employee of Spook Design Co. a small branding agency. He takes inspiration from a variety of things, from comics to kitschy vintage pin-ups to schlocky horror movies from the 70's. He focuses primarily on digital illustration, but only, so he claims, because he "can't paint or draw to save his life".
